10月的時候，學校寄了email邀請10位國際學生去參觀Oskaloosa，是Lawrence不遠的一個town，我就好奇跑去參加了。
The Rotary Club of Oskaloosa, KS is again inviting international student to an evening of entertainment in their community on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. There will be a tour included of the town with special visit to the courthouse, the school and "Old Jefferson Town". Dinner will also be included at a local restaurant.
Oskaloosa is a small rural community located 20 miles north of Lawrence. Rotary is an international service organization devoted to the improvement of the business and civic life and to increase understanding among nations. They have sponsored this annual event for over 42 years.
中午在學校集合，有Oskaloosa的人來接我們，去參觀了Oskaloosa社區，是一個小又傳統的社區，晚餐在一個很可愛的小餐館，他們自己有音樂表演，過了一個非常非常愉快的一天。
先參觀牢房，這就是所謂的ball and chain，綁在犯人腳上就很難移動，那顆球我去提了，真的很重。
